A NORTON MAN WAS INJURED IN A ONE VEHICLE ACCIDENT SUNDAY IN BARTON COUNTY. A 1998 CADILLAC, DRIVEN BY 50-YEAR-OLD TERRY GAUTIER OF NORTON WAS SOUTHBOUND ON U.S. HIGHWAY 281 EAST OF GALATIA IN BARTON COUNTY. FOR UNKNOWN REASONS, THE CAR LEFT THE ROADWAY AND ENTERED THE DITCH. THE CADILLAC OVERTURNED AND STRUCK AN EMBANKMENT. GAUTIER WAS TAKEN TO THE CLARA BARTON REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER IN GREAT BEND. THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED AT THREE SUNDAY AFTERNOON SIX MILES EAST OF GALATIA ON U.S. HIGHWAY 281 IN BARTON COUNTY, ACCORDING TO THE KANSAS HIGHWAY PATROL.
