Marysville City Council met in regular session Monday evening. The council passed a change in zoning which will allow the development of a property located on South 11th Road. The property may now be developed by Excel Development of Auburn, NE, who has planned a project that would build 24 housing units. Marshall County Economic Director George McCune said it’s estimated that the project would generate more than $122,000 in property tax revenue in its first 10 years and more than $101,000 in the following five.
